Dick’s Towing is small family owned business that has been servicing East County for 3 generations, originally starting with one tow truck at the local service station in Campo. The company started with services in light duty towing and roadside services and rapidly grew. Now, years later Dick’s Towing has two locations servicing our local community and is a medium and heavy-duty towing and recovery business.

Today, Dick’s Towing continues to be a proud family owned and operated company with a strong commitment to serving the Mountain Empire area. This is our hometown and we are proud to be able to provide you with your roadside service needs.

If your car ever breaks down on Interstate 8 in San Diego County, call Dick’s Towing. The first towing company my insurance called hadn’t arrived and I had been waiting over an hour. I finally had Internet/phone connection and searched for towing companies. I called Dick’s and within 30 minutes our car was on the tow truck and we were on our way to the mechanic. I got a flat on my motorcycle near Lake Cuyamaca on highway 79 on a Saturday morning. I called AAA and they said a driver would be dispatched within an hour. Brian from Dick’s Towing showed up in less than an hour. I had no idea that I’d have to have it towed 50 miles to San Diego to get the tire fixed.

This was the first time I had my bike towed so I was a little anxious about the whole process. Brian was awesome. He was careful with my bike and thorough in making sure it was secured properly. And he’s a pretty cool dude on top of that. It wasn’t exactly how I planned on spending my Saturday, but I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
